The Fun Dome Parties sound like fun, but we have a few questions.

What are your party packages?
We have four party packages to choose from, and are listed on our website. ( http://fundome.ca/party-packages/ )
Food options include hotdogs, chicken strips and pizza, with healthy add-ons including fresh fruit and raw vegetables.
What’s included in the play portion of the party?
The play area of the Fun Dome includes:
- unlimited 18 hole mini golf,
- double slide bouncer,
- GIANT inflatable slide,
- bouncer with slide & obstacle course,
- BEAM interactive projector game
- imagination playground blocks for fostering unstructured child-directed free play,
- riding cars,
- airplane teeter-totter,
- play house,
- photo station,
- infant quiet room, adult area with couch seating, and toys and activities for all ages.
What is the party structure?
The first 1.5 hours are set in the play area (or two hours, if you choose the bounce & play), with access to all play areas of the Fun Dome.
Your party will then have one hour in the party room (30min for bounce & play) to enjoy the meal you have selected, (food is laid out buffet style), as well as cut cake and open gifts.
How many guests are we allowed?
All party packages include 12 children (includes birthday child), and additional children may be added at an extra cost.
Can other parents/adults attend?
Yes, other adults can attend. There is lots of room in the Fun Dome play areas and the party room capacity will accommodate up to 60 of children and adults. There is no addmission costs for adults though if food is required it will need to be added in addition to the children’s food on your party invoice.
Our venue will accommodate up to 200 guests (adults and children combined) Please note: Additional room rentals will be required for party bookings over 60 guests.
What is role of the Fun Dome hostess?
As part of your package, there will be a party hostess to guide you and the attendees through the party. They will be present to greet you and show you the various play areas, provide water and coffee during the play time, and prepare the party room for your meal. Table liners will be put on the tables, including a cake/gift table, and the serving table will be set up. Your hostess will ensure your food and drinks will be ready, buffet style, at the beginning of the mealtime. At the end of the hour in the party room, your hostess will bring you the invoice so that payment can be completed. While the hostess will also circulate throughout the play area to ensure that everyone is having fun, the parents/guardians assume full responsibility and will provide direct supervision of all minors present.
When do I have to confirm my final number of party attendees (kids)?
If your party falls on a weekend, please ensure you confirm the final number of attending kids BEFORE NOON on the Monday before your scheduled party date. If you party falls during a weekday please check with the Fun Dome office for your confirmation date.
Can we order extra food for the adults attending the party?
Absolutely. So we can prepare adequately, additional food requests need to be submitted when you confirm your party #’s (see above for the deadlines).
What if there are allergies?
Please contact us if you have any concerns regarding dietary restrictions.
What do we bring?
Socks are required for all the children attending the party. As the cooler weather approaches, we recommend bringing along a pair of runners for playing the mini golf, and a sweater for those not as active. The mini golf and large inflatable play area is more susceptible to temperature fluctuations, given the unique structure of the dome.
Do we need to bring napkins? Or tablecloths?
We supply all you need when it comes to the party room, including table liners, plates, cutlery and napkins. (If you are wanting to coordinate with a certain theme, please feel free to provide your own cake plates, napkins, table liners, etc.) Don’t forget to bring the cake!
Is it private or do we share this space?
We do not accept multiple bookings for the same time slot, and The Fun Dome is not open to the public during these party bookings. Both the Fun Dome play areas AND the party room are reserved for only you and your guests.
It is important to note that once your play time has ended, a new party’s playtime begins. Thus, the parties overlap in timing but don’t share the same space.
Can we bring in our own decorations?
Yes, you may certainly customize the party room to coordinate with a theme. Items may be taped on with scotch tape, and removed after your party is over. Please note that the party room will be available for 15 minutes prior to your meal time, and thus won’t accommodate for any extensive decorations. Quick and easy ways to personalize your party are birthday bouquets and table favors/decorations. Piñatas are not permitted.
If we don’t use the entire hour in the meal room can the kids go back and play?
You will be unable to go back into the play room as the space will be in use of another party or closed for the day. Unless prior arrangements have been made there are no adjustments to your parties’ structure the same day. If you or your guests arrive late there is no extension of the party time.
Is the facility stroller friendly?
If you plan to bring a stroller please be aware that is may not fit through our revolving door to get into the Fun Dome play areas. You may need to fold it up, please ask your hostess for assistance.
Are there other events within the building?
The Edmonton Sportsdome has events throughout the day on the rink surfaces in the Dome. There is a walk way by the Fun Dome play area that other guests will have to use to access the back of the Dome and mezzanine. The people walking through will NOT affect your party and they do not have access to any of the play areas.
If I added on additional children during my confirmation and they do not end up attending, will they be taken off my invoice?
Invoices are a final sale the day of your party. You will still receive all the ordered meal items.
What are the accepted forms of payment on our party day?
We accept cash, credit card and debit payments on the day of your party.
Are we allowed to bring in outside food?
No, only cake and cupcakes are permitted.
Do you supply party invitations?
Yes, we sure do! Available as a PDF so you can print them from the convenience of home, or pick up some birthday invitation postcards from our booking office Mon-Fri 8-430pm.
How far ahead should we reserve our party date?
We recommend booking 6-8 weeks for optimal availability.
What days of the week do you offer party bookings?
We offer party bookings 7 days a week!
This sounds awesome. How do we book a party?
Contact our booking office at 780-465-5599 to check our availability. Fill out a booking form online – http://fundome.ca/party-packages/party-booking-form/ Once our office receives your booking form we will contact you regarding payment. To reserve your party time and date, a non-refundable $100 deposit is required. Payment can be made by credit card over the phone, E-Transfer or in person with cash or debit.
I just looked at my credit card statement. Who/what is MMCinc?
The Fun Dome is a subsidiary of Modan Management and Consulting (MMCinc). As such, all transactions will reflect payment to MMCinc.
